Fresh Berries With Homemade Cream
This seasonal recipe for fresh berries and homemade cream is so easy to make and perfect for a summer BBQ. Plus, it’s delicious!
Greek yogurt is high in protein to promote stable blood sugar, support bone and muscle maintenance, and help keep you fuller for longer. Coconut cream contains healthy fats for brain health. Berries are low in sugar and rich in vitamins and minerals for overall health.
- Baking dish or individual cups
- Large bowl
2 cups strawberries
2 cups blueberries
1/2 can full-fat coconut cream
1/2 cup full-fat plain Greek yogurt
1 TBSP maple syrup, or to taste
1 tsp vanilla extract
Feel free to make this recipe your own based on what you like or what you already have. You can add raspberries, blackberries, or any other fruit in the fridge! Feel free to use store-bought whipped cream in place of the homemade cream.
Step by Step Instructions
Wash berries; Cut strawberries into small pieces
In a bowl, whisk together yogurt, coconut cream, maple syrup, and vanilla
In a glass baking dish or individual cups, alternate between layers of fresh berries and cream of choice
Allow to set in the fridge for at least one hour
Serve and enjoy!
