Spooky Spider Deviled Eggs

Bring these spooky spider deviled eggs to your Halloween party! This simple recipe is easy to make, contains simple ingredients, and makes eating healthy festive and fun!

Eggs are a great source of fat and protein to promote fullness and balanced energy levels. Black olives contain heart healthy fats.





  • 6 hard-boiled eggs, halved
  • 3 TBSP mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp vinegar
  • At least 12 black olives
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

You can substitute/add any of the ingredients for some of your favorites. Add your favorite herbs and spices to the filling like fresh dill or garlic. You can also use green olives. To make this recipe more nutrient-dense, use a mayo made with olive oil or avocado oil. 

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1

Make hard-boiled eggs; Transfer to an ice bath and allow to cool before cutting in half; Scoop out the yolks and add to a bowl; Mash with a fork

Step 2

To the same bowl, add mayo, mustard, salt, and pepper

Step 3

Transfer yolk mixture to a large plastic bag; Cut off the tip of the plastic bag and pipe the yolk mixture into the egg whites

Step 4

Place one olive in the center of each deviled egg to make the body of the spider; Thinly slice more black olives; Place four slices on each side of the whole olive to make the legs

Step 5

Allow to chill in the fridge before serving; Enjoy!
